Meet The Team

Michael Hasegawa, M.D.

Mike graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2001, where he also met his future wife, Crizen. Mike worked for Accenture-Chicago for the following 8 years as an executive in business consulting, until a late career change to pursue medical school. Mike graduated from Rush Medical College in 2013 and matched into the Emergency Medicine residency program at Resurrection Medical Center where he was chief resident. Through medical school and residency, Mike and Crizen, welcomed their three children Kaya, Nina, and Kenzo. Upon finishing residency, Mike and Crizen, pursuing a life-style change, moved to Austin where Mike worked for Seton Northwest Hospital for 5 years before transitioning to become the Medical Director for Signature Care Killeen. Mike lives a healthy and active lifestyle with many hobbies including snowboarding, mountain biking, basketball and golf. Upon turning 40, Mike, noticing changes in his body, began to explore longevity medicine. What started as a personal interest, gradually developed into a lifestyle, which attracted the interests of friends and family. This momentum eventually grew into Mike starting BodyTimeMD in the fall of 2022 to provide an Executive Longevity Medicine service to those with shared values in health.

Crizen Hasegawa

Crizen graduated from Purdue University in 2001 and worked in aerospace industry as a project manager for 4 years. Although she liked her job, she ultimately decided to pursue her dream of becoming a hairstylist with the support of her husband, Mike. Shortly after getting married in 2005, Crizen left the aerospace industry and went on to Cosmetology school. She was quick to build a loyal clientele and she opened a salon in downtown Chicago just as Mike decided to go to medical school. Crizen and Mike had 3 children while Mike was in medical school and ER training. Crizen supported her family for almost 10 years before the family decided to move to Austin for a better lifestyle.

Crizen was not always into health and fitness but after having her children, she saw the importance of living a healthy and active life.  She has since become a fitness fanatic and works out at 5am every day.  She also became passionate about nutrition through her health journey.

Jenny Hillman

Jenny came to Austin 20+ years ago because she values an active lifestyle and the outdoors. She had a long and successful career in corporate sales at Dell Inc including receiving awards for customer advocacy and sales achievement. In 2012 Jenny traded in the briefcase for the diaper bag to stay home and raise their boy and girl twins. Raising twins has sharpened skills such as patience, planning and logistics. As Operations Manager, logistics and planning will be key to success in her role working closely with clients. As a young adult, Jenny watched her mom run 5 marathons between the ages of 50 to 60 and has also witnessed her complete several 150 mile bike rides. In seeing how vibrant her mom’s life is in her seventies, Jenny understands the importance an active and healthy lifestyle plays in longevity. By being a part of BodyTimeMD, the opportunity to learn more about health and longevity and be a part of a company that personalizes and prescribes a plan for both, was right in line with her personal and professional goals.

Andrew Dalton, D.O.

Drew graduated from University of Missouri in 2006 with a degree in Biochemistry and chose to pursue a career in medicine. After completing medical school in Kansas City he went on to complete an Emergency Medicine residency in Chicago at Resurrection medical center. He chose to pursue a career as an emergency medicine physician and initially practiced in Kankakee, Illinois. After 3 years in Illinois, he and his family relocated to Kansas City. He took on the role of Emergency Medical Director at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas. While taking care of patients in the emergency department,  Drew started noticing a pattern of chronic disease often manifesting as acute crises. This sparked his interest and passion for finding ways to prevent these chronic diseases. Focusing initially on exercise and nutrition, he started to dive into the science of longevity medicine and prevention. He began to look for ways to impart his knowledge to help patients extend their healthy and active years. Drew enjoys staying active with hobbies such as skiing, cycling and weight lifting. The majority of his free time is spent with his wife Megan and 3 children Porter, Hensley and Ellis.

Originally from New York City, Ruby grew up in the fashion industry, modeling herself, but was always drawn to helping people. After graduating from Vassar college and working as an EMT and research technician, she went on to earn her medical degree from Tufts University in Boston and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts in 2006. After moving to Austin, TX in 2012 and working for one of the large hospital systems while raising 3 kids and supporting her husband’s new business, Ruby realized the impact her work lifestyle was having on her health and felt compelled to practice medicine the way she originally envisioned: focused compassionate care. She went on to pursue her interest in complimentary medicine and completed a fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona in 2019.

As a lifelong student of medicine struggling with her own journey through perimenopause, Ruby took on more training and recently became a certified functional medicine practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine this past spring. Through science-based integrative and functional methods that combine nutrition, mind-body awareness, movement and hands-on healing, Ruby found her passion for preventative care, focusing on optimizing metabolic, gut and hormone function. Outside of medicine, Ruby delights in equestrian sports with her two daughters, exploring all forms of music with her son, and cherishes quality time centered around healthy cooking and laughter with her husband.
